Congressman French Hill announces National Right to Life Committee Endorsement

February 9, 2016

Little Rock, Ark. — Republican Congressman French Hill (AR-2) issued the following statement on receiving the endorsement of the National Right to Life Committee as a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District of Arkansas:

“As a pro-life member of Congress who is strongly committed to advancing pro-life public policies, I am proud to support legislation that protects the rights of the unborn, and that record has earned me the National Right to Life Committee’s 100% rating; I am humbled by their support. I have always been a committed and strong advocate for the unborn, and I will continue to carry that message with me wherever I go.”

During the 114th Congress, Congressman Hill supported the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, which would establish a government-wide ban for funding abortions or healthcare plans that cover abortions, along with legislation to block federal funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading abortion provider. Additionally, he has consistently voted to repeal Obamacare, a law that created a nationwide program funding insurance plans that cover abortions.
