Congressman French Hill Announces National Federation of Independent Business SAFE Trust Endorsement

March 16, 2016

Little Rock, Ark. — Congressman French Hill (AR-2) issued the following statement upon receiving the endorsement of the NFIB’s SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust for the Second Congressional District of Arkansas:

“I am honored to receive the endorsement from the NFIB, one of the nation’s leading advocacy groups for small business owners. One of my top priorities in Congress is to grow our economy, help spur job creation in the Second District, and protect small businesses by fighting against burdensome regulations, high taxes and initiatives by the White House that hurt small business owners’ ability to grow their companies and create jobs.”

Congressman Hill spent more than two decades creating jobs and building businesses, as a banker in Arkansas. He is a past chairman of the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and grew his most recent business, Delta Trust, as an idea from the back of a napkin to a flourishing community bank.

Currently, he is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, where his knowledge and expertise in the private sector has given him a strong voice for small business owners for the Second Congressional District of Arkansas.

Congressman Hill will continue to support legislation in Congress that supports pro-growth regulatory policies, creates jobs, and keeps the voice of small businesses in Arkansas heard in Washington. He will continue to fight against the regulatory mandates of faceless bureaucrats in Washington.
